-
At PandaRoll, we don’t limit different ranks from learning certain skill. This means that when you are brand new you can learn leg locks, do take downs or freely roll. We’re able accommodate this due to strictly enforcing our gym rules which creates a safe and collaborative training environment.
-
At PandaRoll, we focus on the jiujitsu! We aren’t concerned with what logo you have on your gi or what color it is. Just come train!
-
Our warmups will be movement based in the area that we are focusing on for class.
i.e. if the class is focused on guard passing, we will practice guard passing for our warmup
No time is wasted during class doing non-jiujitsu related movements
i.e. no pushups, crunches, jumping jacks or running in circles at PandaRoll!
-
We have a systems based approach to training that encompasses all areas and aspects of Jiu Jitsu. This ensures you build a complete and well rounded Jiu Jitsu game.
-
Here at PandaRoll safely is our top priority and although this is a combat sport and injuries do happen, we have and will enforce our gym rules to ensure everyones safety. Whether you are new to jiujitsu or come in as a higher ranked student, if we see unsafe training we will call you out on it. This is for your safety and the safety of others.
-
At PandaRoll, promotions are skill based and not time based. Students are encouraged to ask what they need to learn or work on for their next advancement.
-
Sweat, maybe some blood, maybe some tears. All jokes aside there will never be belt promotion fees. The coaches will work with each student to develop a learning path and set focus areas to ensure a well rounded understanding of Jiu Jitsu.
-
Our students are encouraged to cross-train freely. Your game will only benefit from working with others, this is why we have a weekly free open mat to bring everyone in to mix things up.
-
Everyone is treated with the same level of respect on and off the mats. There is no bowing to the mat or the coaches. You can refer to the coaches by their first names or simply coach.
-
Open mats and seminars open to all gyms regardless of affiliation, please review our gym rules before your first time training with us.
