Intro to Jiu Jitsu Program

We’ve specifically designed our Intro series to give people a fun, safe and collaborative way to be introduced to jiujitsu as well how we train at PandaRoll. This includes the 8 class intro program + 8 review/training sessions (optional).
This Intro course is a recurring monthly foundations class. Students will get an overview of the top jiujitsu concepts and we will go over the 7 main areas of jiujitsu so you have an understanding of all aspects of what jiujitsu is about. Students will also have access to our rolling time available after class to join in or review what we worked on with other students.

Rolling Panda Class Overview

Adult Jiu Jitsu
This class is designed to establish a solid foundation in Jiu-Jitsu with an emphasis on essential concepts and movement, and advanced technical and conceptual jiu jitsu skills. We’ll focus on efficient movement patterns and positional awareness while introducing you to key positions and cover both offensive and defensive fundamentals, including control strategies, escapes and key transitional skills.
Skills Development
This class is designed to give students the opportunity to practice self directed learning. There is so much to learn in jiu jitsu, this class ensures all students get time to work on exactly what they need or want to. Students can work on any skills they wish to improve on while still receiving feedback and guidance from an instructor.
Rolling
This is what sets Jiu-Jitsu apart from the majority of martial arts, as you get to test your grappling abilities against resisting, trained opponents, in a live environment. Even if you are new to jiujitsu, it is important to pressure test what you’ve learned to ensure you are not developing bad habits. Training intensity can adapt depending on partner skill level.
Red and Junior Pandas Class Overview

Red Pandas
Our younger pandas will learn basic concepts, movements, and the principles of balance, control, and leverage. Instead of just memorizing moves, this class focuses on teaching them the importance of teams work, being a good partner and student, training safely and learning how to use their bodies.
Junior Pandas
Our junior pandas will learn more advanced concepts and techniques building on a solid foundation. Since these kids are older, we are able to go deeper into details and teach more complex positions and techniques. Instead of just memorizing moves, this class focuses on teaching the "why" behind Jiu-Jitsu techniques so kids learn how to solve problems on the mat and move smoothly from one position to the next.
Junior Pandas Skill Development
This class is designed for our junior pandas that have a good understanding of the basic positions and movements (reserved for gray belt and up). This is structured training time that will consist of drilling from a variety of positions that is designed to hone their defensive and offensive skills with extra time to roll.
Visitor Overview

Open Mat
This is not a structured class, rather it is free time for students to work on developing a skill of their choosing. You are free to drill, roll, ask questions of other students. Our open mat sessions are open to all students from all academies, free of charge.
Private Lesson

Health and Wellness

Your strength training session begins with a comprehensive approach to set you up for long-term success. This allows Tahoe to design exercises tailored specifically to your needs.
Tahoe will collaborate with you to create a personalized program, guiding you on a clear path toward achieving those goals. Throughout your sessions, Tahoe will be your guide and resource, providing education on proper form and execution to maximize results and prevent injury. You'll explore new training techniques and modalities, ensuring your workouts remain fresh and effective.
